Entertaiment is a very broad term and it can mean anything that keeps a person entertained in some way. It can be a form of art, food, drink or even sports. The word entertain itself has some very interesting roots going back to the medieval Latin intertenere or “to hold inside.” It also goes back to the Indo-European root ten, which means “to stretch.” This shows that entertainment is something that can be transformed, and it’s almost impossible to limit it to a single style or even a medium.
